Ya, the business model for primary research is not a wowser. I need to sell 10 of the complete reports just to break even. I fronted all the costs myself.

Comparatively the MarketsandMarkets research entitled Small UAV Market by Trends – Global Forecast 2014-2019 costs $4,650 for a single user license. Grant it's a bigger report, but that price is actually low compared to what is average for market research in the business software market (which I used to do).

You can get the Summary Report for $95. I priced that so it's in reach for most small businesses and would be start-ups.

I present this at the sUSB-Expo in SF on Thursday. Jim Williams the Manager of the FAA’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Integration Office will be on hand. It should be interesting to say the least. Stay tuned.
