Glad they could catch that bastard....but where the value of $40,000 is hidden in that toy is beyond my understanding.....

I used to want a Microdrone until I saw their price tag. I spoke with an Italian film producer who wanted to sell his (years ago). He said the craft was too light in the wind. I also had Draganfly's Y6 in mind, but once again the price was entirely too high. I purchased Mikrokopter and sold the parts on EBay (Too complicated and lack of instructions). Then along comes DJI: simple, it works, and definitely cheaper. No regrets.

I should build an expendable drone for someone if they are so willing to spend 40,000. Man...

What I like about this more than anything is that the media portrayed the guy as doing good things with his multi, not using it as ammo against drones.
