DJI Software improvement.

Hi all,

I think it will be a very easy mode to setup - in the same time - Basic and Attitude gain with the input X2 and X3.

So, I write a small idea to DJI :

"Hi Terry,

Here after, I explain a Very simple modification that may increase greatly the setup.

1° Into Autopilot page, create a new question into the Assistant Software : "Always in Attitude Mode".
If checked, software don't ask for a 3 positions switch, it make always Attitude mode.

2° So, Input X2 and X3 are free and BOTH in the same time may be used to setup
Basic gain (e.g. with X2) and Attitude gain (e.g. with X3).

3° When setup is done, user uncheck "Always in Attitude Mode" and - as now - a 3 position switch take place.

What do you think about that? Great is n't it!

Best regards"

And you, what do you think about my idea?
I am quite sure this software modification is not difficult to achive and that may be a great easy way to setup both gain in the same time. :dejection:

You can actually do this with the current software. If you are using X3 for camera platform tilt, go to the gimbal tab and set the Manual Control Speed to zero. You can now assign X3 to ATTI gains and have X2 assigned to basic pitch and roll gains and then use which ever controls you have assigned to X2 and X3 on the TX to make changes to both sets of gains while in flight. When done, connect to the assistant and note the settings of both gains, then you remove X3 from whichever gain(s) you have assigned it to and then reset the Manual Control speed for the gimbal to whatever it was at the beginning.
