DJI S800 retracts don't function after IMUv2 upgrade ... WHAT ??

AT the risk of double posting I decided to start a new thread on this because a) it might get seen by those who do not follow the IMUv2 thread and b) I want to find a quick solution to this rather baffling issue.

First off the rig: S800/WKM w/ IMUv2/Z15G/DJI retracts/iOSD/bluetooth LED (firmware/software updated to 5.22/2.00)

Previous config with IMUv1 and DJI retracts was reasonable - except for the occasional height drop. This was the reason for the IMUv2 change.

Flight appears to be smoother with IMUv2 but not conclusively so because I got distracted by the retracts which have suddenly stopped functioning correctly. If they work at all it is a very jerky movement but then they get confused with themselves and stop working altogether. BUT, this is only in flight. On the ground, suspended between two tables, the retracts work absolutely normally and very smoothly.

Suspecting some sort of power deficiency, the iOSD, Z15G and the new bluetooth LED were all physically disconnected from power and CAN-bus.

But nothing changed with the retracts. They worked on the ground but not in the air. They had to be re-calibrated several times because they screwed themselves up, jerking around, radio switching was simplified (simple switch in place of Logic switching), the leg-spring tension was adjusted all over the place but all to no avail.

How the hell can changing the IMU affect the retracts?

Anybody else have a similar setup? If so, does it work?

It would be so wonderful if a DJI tech rep would read this and offer advice.

Try to move your RX around and place a ferrite core on the servo wires between MC and RX. If the retracts work corectly on a servo tester then RX interfearance is the only thing that comes to mind.

... unless the firmware 5.22 update has a bug that affects power supply. After all, they managed it pretty convincingly with the GPS/FlipOfDeath saga.

The thing is, nothing is different to before, except that the IMU has been replaced with the Version 2 - plus the 5.22 FW update to enable the bluetooth LED. If there is Rx interference now, why was there none before?

Can you make a short video of the problem, including bench test and flight test?
