Dji Phantom 2 with frsky x8r help!

This is my first post to a forum. Im having problems setting up my phantom 2 with the frsky x8r. Im getting channels 1-4 and calibrated them fine but none of the switches will seem to work. Set up is as follows

X8r binded with no jumper and connected via sbus to naza's X2
Tarranis x9d in d16 2mode
channels 1-7 setup (4 for controls and 3 for switches)
dji assistant software in m mode

Like i said channels 1-4 work fine and i was able to calibrate them. 5-7 show no response on the A.S
Any help would be appreciated. ive scoured online and cant seem to find another instance of this problem. Most people are able to get setup without any problems

It sounds like a setup issue with your channels on the transmitter if channels 1-4 are working. How have you got your channels set up on the Taranis? Are the switches you want to use mapped to channels 5-8?
