Just a quick note, I contacted DJI to ask about the USB feed what is happening with it, i,e could we change the view settings for example. They have come back with: This is used for firmware updates (Already New that, Thanks) AND! Data-logging? Owe when? No release date as yet... Bummer!

well its not a big secret
there is a 4gb memory card inside the iosd.
so my guess is that it will be used for future logging flight details , but what do i know?
