DJI iOSD and Freefly HDMI converter

Has anyone tried to use the freefly HDMI converter with the DJI iOSD? Do I need to take the output from the freefly converter to the av in on the iOSD, then out to the Video Tx or can I just splice the iOSD av out straight into the video Tx along with the output from the HDMI converter.

I've used both in the past but never together.

if anyone has done this, then please let me know.

all the best

I don't have the freefly unit but another hdmi unit.
I do take the av signal from the unit and run I true the DJI osd and on the other channel on the osd I run my fpv camera too.

Then I have the osd info on both signals.

Thanks RSun. Just one question do you have an independent lipo powering your video Tx? Or is it all powered from one source?

After trying all sorts of stuff, I settled for this: http://www.castlecreations.com/products/ccbec.html (I am using both versions).....gives you a clean, stabil power supply and has an adjustable output voltage
you need this in addition: http://www.castlecreations.com/products/castle_link.html

There is a lot of cheaper stuff on the market, but I rather spend a few $ more and get a reliable product....
