hey guys. New here and could use a hand.

I was given a DJI Phantom 3 professional as a gift. It is second hand but has never been used. Problem is I can't get it to work.

I cannot update the software past version 8, cannot get the drone to 'prime' so to speak, can't get the software to work.

Being my first drone I'm pretty sure that all this is user inexperience and I'm probably doing something wrong. I am learning. But all the YouTube videos, google searches and muddling in the world and I'm still nowhere.

I am in Phuket from Saturday (I'm on my way there now on a boat) and would love to get a professional who can assist me or a store/dealer that I can take this to to fix as I am dead keen to fly.

Has anyone got any advice regarding professionals in the area or someone that can help me? I really am at wits end.

    Any assistance would be awesome.

    Thank you

Curious, did you ever get it to work?

Also, don't think that just because your new to this that its somehow your fault. That's not always the case. Welcome to the world of DJI.
