I hope someone can help me out.

I have a DJI F450 with a NAZA Lite FC and E300 Esc's and motors. I need to replace one motor and I can not find a E300 2212 motor in stock anywhere. Can I run the new E310, 2312 motor with a Naza Lite FC, and a E300 15A ESC? If so, can I swap just one or do I need to change at least two (maybe both rear motors)?

The specs for the motors are different.

E310 2312 Specs: 960kv, 60g, 20amp esc, http://www.dji.com/product/e310/spec
E300 2212 Specs: 920kv, 50g, 15amp esc, http://www.dji.com/product/e300/spec

Thanks,

Tim

Hummm, either you made a mistake typing, or there's even more different motors. I bought 4 DJI 2312/940kv motors (not 960), and got confused when the instructions said they require a different ESC ???? So mine are still sitting in their bags. I'm also interested in the differences. ????
I see DJI strikes again. I clicked on your link, and yup there is also a 960kv, so we have the stock 920, the 940's I have, and the 960's. I give up ?????
BTW, the number on my motor bag is: PV646027894
OK. now I'm totally baffled, notice on this site it says 940kv but motors say 960kv ????????

I should have known, DJI, I know, I know. I opened one of the bags. Label on bag says DJI 2312/940KV, after opening the bag, motor says 960KV so who knows what's going on ????

Every 2312 motor i've seen has 960kv written on it. I'm assuming the descriptions are wrong and the motors are correct. I purchased two 2212/920 motors on amazon for $36 only to receive two 2312/960's in the mail. So, I'm trying to decide what to do with them.

Same boat here. The paper work says something about these newer motors requiring a special ESC. I don't know if it just wants a higher amp rating, or if there is different timing, etc. etc. ????
