Different size props on coaxial config?

I know that many people are using different pitches on their X8/6 setups, with the larger pitch being the bottom prop, but has anyone used different size props, for example a 15 on top and a 12 on bottom?

Much of the coaxial prop research I have come across shows that the second prop doesn't actually add much thrust, yet empirical evidence suggests otherwise. From what I've read, the bottom prop is shown not to add much additional thrust, but to 'straighten out' the air flow of the top prop, which increases thrust, but not on the scale of an entire additional motor. Has anyone here done bench tests to measure the thrust of the coaxial setup?

One thought on this is the distance between the props on our setups being much larger than a coaxial setup on the same shaft, which is how the research I have seen was done. Thoughts or observations?
