I have just finished assembling and programming the dji wookong on my cinestar 6. First attempt to fly it after getting the motors spinning the correct ways I have found that three will usually clunk on throttle up and not really spin at all. They alternate when turning everything off and on again so I can assume the power distribution is fine. Is this a problem with the programming of the esc's? I'm using 40a hobbywing pentiums and torxpower motors from quadcopter.co.uk.
Any help would be much appreciated as I reall cant wait to get this thing flying!

Did you do throttle calibration on each ESC? If not you need to do that first. Also, what are the settings the ESC are programmed to? With similar motors (Avroto) I found mid or high timing to work best depending on which flight controller I was using.
I'm using AXI 2814-22 with Maytech 30A ESC on my CineStar and it's super smooth in the air, set your gains to 300 for basic pitch and roll, yaw to 250 and vertical to 250 with ATTI of 65 to 70% and don't overprop it, the WKM likes much smaller props than you would use with the MK electronics. I use either 11 x 5 Graupners or APC 12 x 6 thin electric which have a very similar blade profile to the Graupners. The smoothest video I've done so far was with the Graupner props, haven't had a chance to really try out the APC doing video mainly becssue the weather here has been crappy lately.
