Hello everyone.
I'm very new to the mikrokopter thing. Just bought an OktoXL the other day and learning to fly.
Unfortunately, a couple of days ago I had to crash land because the kopter was flying away quite quickly and I didn't want it to go to populated areas.
A rigger got bent and I'm not too sure about the motors (any tips on how to test motor health more than welcome).
While waiting for spares to arrive, I thought I'd check the electronics are ok.
I connected to my laptop and was surprised to find that the Kopter didn't report any errors (even though a motor was missing!)
Now, I wasn't too convinced that everything was fine so I fired up the motors (without propellers of course).
Channels ok on MK Tool but the throttle lever didn't make the motors run any faster. Yaw, Nick and roll all sounded like the motors responded fine but throttle didn't make any difference.
Is my Flight-Ctrl broken? Is it one of the sensors maybe?
Has anyone had similar problems before?
Last but not least:
What tests would you run before flying it again?
