Gaui Camera mount and landing gear for Gaui 500x?

Advise needed for camera mount and legs for Gaui 500 RTF. Wanting to do aerial photography and video, however many of the video's you see on the Gaui 500
show the legs in the shot. The GoPro Hero 2 is very wide angle, and the standard legs and mount on the Gaui are in the shots! Can anyone help us find a viable
alternative? This is rather urgent.. Many thanks

Did you have a look at these ??
For the landing legs I used 4 of these http://www.multiwiicopter.com/produc...carbon-150x85h ...

To fit the FPV cam or GoPro Tx and battery onto
http://www.multiwiicopter.com/produc...x65mm-carbon-f

If you are only using the GoPro the above suits well.

Hi Lifter. Many thanks again for sending the links. I did look at it before, but I must admit I'm a little confused how its all set up? Would feel more confident if there were some shots included with it all fitted. Are you sure 100 percent they can be fitted to the Gaui 500RTF? Have you seen one been fitted, of do you have any shots of the whole kit on a Quad? The bracket that fits the go pro, its just one item? I see they do mention that its sits in front of the boom/struts for the landing gear. Thats crucial for what we need. Just needs a little more information so I can see the whole set up.

Many thanks for your help!

I have a couple of Pics - will try to upload them to upload them here.
The pics show the FPV camera fitted - the Gopro will fit in its place (without its case) and there is approx 17mm clearance from the ground.
You need to drill 4 extra holes to fit the legs and 2 extra to fit the battery / camera base.
Get 2 of the bases and that will give you more room to cut and shut to fit your gear if necessary - get the G10 ones, will do the same job and cheaper.

hope this helps

More Pics, also I had a Gaui "payload mount" on hand so that is sitting over the carbon Camera / Battery base up front, it saved me cutting up another Multiwii base, I also made it, (the base) to fit in the opposite direction if necessary.
The yellow on the screw heads are the ones that I drilled or modified.

Reread your post "I see they do mention that its sits in front of the boom/struts for the landing gear." This refers to the MultiWii Scarab not the Gaui...
"Allows a v1 Scarab Quad owner to upgrade to a v2 Stealth Reconn style setup and mount their GoPro well forward to keep the props out of the super video of the goPro."

The base plate can be mounted to suit your requirements, where I have mine mounted for the FPV cam is spot on for the COG in this instance. Move the battery forward or back for the balance.
Cheers

Hi Lifter. Many thanks for your help on this! That gives us a lot to go on, and I am sure we can make a decision based on your info! :tennis:

People on here have been very helpful indeed, which includes yourself! Good to see how it all fits together with the images, and the legs appear to be much
better than the standard kit. Feeling a little easier about the situation, and its now decision time!

Many thanks
