Hey
I'm going to spent 1500 USD for a Multicopter for videography(Gopro and other action camera).I mean exactly for videography.
Now i'm practicing with a mini quadcopter(JD-385).

There are two options for me :

1.buying an RTF like Walkera Tali H500 .
2.Building a multicopter myself better than Tali h500 with more capabilities .

  • What should I buy if i choose "1" ?
  • What should I build if I choose "2" ?(that's my favorite one)

Please list every little configuration requirements such as :

  • Fight controller
  • IMU(Sonar,Optical flow sensor, Barometer,GPS, Gyroscope, etc.)
  • Frame
  • Motors
  • ESCs
  • Propellers
  • FPV(neccesaries, minimum range of 1 km)
  • Gimball(3 axis with good stabilization for action camera)
  • Controller(Minimum of 10 channels)
  • Camera positioning kit or retracatble landing gear
  • Battery(with minimum 15 min flight time with gimbal and camera)
  • Anything for safety of copter.
  • And other part such as cables, screws, etc

I'm ready for your guides and tips !
Thank you.

I'm looking to build a similar quad, so I came to this forum for assistance. I can't believe your thread has been up for a week without any replies. This was my first forum stop, but I'm sure there are others. Good luck with your build.

Your best way to make this happen would be to surf this forum for hours on end. While we can suggest some things more than others, it is always best to do your research and use trial & error to determine what fits your needs. Prepare for your budget to keep growing lol.

Search previous builds, watch videos of builds, reference material. This will answer every question you have. And if you can't find the answer try this forum, it helps alot of folks including myself.

Check Geko Y6 for cameras up to 1.5kg including build in 3 axis gimbal ,folding frame for £999 GPB ,custom build CNC'ed frame from black G10 3mm thick etc:.

I can't believe your thread has been up for a week without any replies.

There are only 2 search hits for the Walkera frame you asked about. Nobody is familiar with it, so you're on your own.
For a first build, you might want to consider something that others have done, so that we can help you...
