Build a hoki drone

This is what I've already done so it's best tested and it makes a great drone.
First buy these things,
Skyline32 Advanced = $30.00
http://www.banggood.com/EMAX-Skylin...-Support-Cleanflight-Baseflight-p-981145.html
or
Skyline32 Mini (with compass for headless mode!) = $17
http://www.banggood.com/EMAX-mini-S...-Support-Cleanflight-Baseflight-p-981151.html
or
Skyline32 Acro = $22.99
http://www.banggood.com/EMAX-Skylin...pass-Support-OSD-OLED-Spektrum-p-1020328.html
USE CLEANFLIGHT TO CONFIGURE THESE FOR BEST RESULTS.

Now choose the ESCs you want, there's so many kinds you can get what you like but I've been through a lot of different ones and found these work the best and are easiest to deal with.
ESCs 4 of them = $26.00
http://www.banggood.com/KINGKONG-BL...OneShot125-For-FPV-Multicopter-p-1002347.html
IF YOU GET THESE YOU WILL NEED A 5V UBEC TO SUPPLY POWER TO THE FLIGHT CONTROLLER SINCE THESE DON'T HAVE THAT MIDDLE RED WIRE.
UBEC = $3.99 (EITHER PLUGS INTO AN EXTRA MOTOR/ESC CONNECTION ON FC OR YOU CAN PLUG IT INTO AN EXTRA CHANNEL ON THE RECEIVER) I recommend plugging into the receiver if you have a skyline flight controller.

4x 2204 motors = $30.77
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/LE-T...t-270-Multicopter-Quadcopter/32520130066.html
XT60 connectors = $2.28 (you can use whatever kind of connector but I use these)
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/10pc...ttery-quadcopter-multicopter/32330092522.html
2200 3s Floureon battery = 26.00
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2X-FLOUREON...8179&clkid=3907029038459432556&_qi=RTM2247625
Frame = $25.00 (get whatever style you like but it's best to get a frame that has a layer or cavity under it where you can put all the wireing and whatnots so it's hidden from view to make it look nice and clutter free. This is the one I picked cause it gets you two frames for the price of one)
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/KING..._8&btsid=ebc5f369-4810-48d1-b9ca-bb2525c0e999
Eachine 600mw camera = $36.00
http://us.banggood.com/Wholesale-Wa...-Camera-w32CH-Transmission-wp-Usa-974874.html
Receiver = $9.90(this will need to be compatible with the remote control but I have a radiolink at9 and this little cute receiver has ppm mode.)
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Orig...link-AT9-AT10-RC-Transmitter/32551544427.html
Transmitter = $95.00 (I like this one cause I think you get the most for the money and it works perfect but you can get one as low as 30 dollars if you want a 4 channel one)
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/F100..._8&btsid=564fca7b-8428-4697-8644-9323e0e1c922
LEDs = $7.00 (good for seeing orientation and night flying. Just plugs into the receiver and you can assign a switch to it and change from flashing to steady and alternate blinks and whatnots)
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/F150...-12V-Waterproof-Lights-Strap/32411917560.html
Cute siren led = $4.59 (I ordered 5 of thesse to put on all my drones, so cute!)

Now just go to harbor freight and some hardware place and get a set of shrink tubes, some velcro maybe, wire for making the power connection, little zip ties, double sided tape like 3m automotive kindp and put it together.

Total is like 270.00 for those parts but you'll need to spend like another 20 dollars or so for the solder iron an solder and stuff.

Oh and put ir cw and ccw motors of they have the different kinds of threading on the top prop nuts in the right spots. The way u figger it out is hold the prop nut on the shaft and then turn the motor the direction the propeller needs to spin and it it starts to screw in then its the right spot and they wont come off ever til u take a wrench or whatever to change ur propeller. Just remember which ones you need to turn which direction to take the back off because one time I forgot and started twisting the wrong way and I snapped my shaft off

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
way to stick with it Hoki, and good on you for coming back and posting your info to help the next member to get going!

Well you cant argue with that, $270 including the radio and a cute led siren. Plus its been tested and works. If I was a newcomer I would probably do this.

Nice job Hoki! Woot woot!

Tidy up the wiring though (this is your conscience speaking lol). Loose wires can cause crashes or fly-aways if they break :)

But very nice job. It looks better than my racer!
