I have been mulling over a coax H8 copter design Centralized around a brushless gimbal (not sure which one yet)to hold a NEX5n or slightly larger camera. Think QAV500 but much larger to handle bigger props and weight of gear.
I think with the camera directly at the CG of the copter combined with a lower profile will make for a very maneuverable and more "wind worthy" copter. . . win win. . . I think.
Is there a flaw with this thinking
Here is the problem. . . . I don't have any CAD experience . . . no building equipment other than my current 2br apt has space for. lol
I think I can get most of this done with a mix of "off the shelf" components from here and there but where to get center plates.
Ideas Thoughts??
