Benewake Lidar fits drones for racing and surveying

    Here are three main LiDAR from Benewake fits drones quite well.

    1. CE30 is a 219g lidar for drones.
    With an optimal range of 30m, it is accurate to 6cm, 132° horizontal FoV and 9° vertical FoV. Solid-state design is adopted without any mechanical rotating components, to guarantee the service life and enhance detecting stability and reliability; compact structural design, embedded in the drones. Two modes are available:

    • Point Cloud Mode focuses on 3D depth information;
    • Obstacle Avoidance Mode further processes the point-cloud data to output the position of the nearest obstacle.

    Once mounted on the drone, the user pushes the button and CE30 is ready to survey. The user can launch the UAV and begins the survey. Once the task accomplished, a USB stick is used for downloading the data.

    Post flight software is available to visualise the point cloud.

    The lidar consumes 6W, and is 79 x 50 x 47 mm.

    2. TF02 is a 52g lidar for drones
    TF02 possesses a higher performance and is applicable to more fields. TF02 highly optimizes the energy system, product structure, fusion algorithm, and shell material so as to achieve a 22-meter-long range and a more stable ranging performance. Combining an innovative production process and multiple software and hardware optimizations, Benewake upgrades LiDAR truly to a consumer level and makes it applicable in numerous fields.

    3. TFmini--Micro LiDAR Module weighs 6g

    TFmini with its unique optical, structural, and electronic designs, possesses 3 major advantages: low cost, tiny volume and low power consumption. The built-in algorithm adapted to indoor and outdoor environments can guarantee an excellent ranging performance at a low cost and in a tiny volume, which highly expands the application fields andscenarios of LiDAR and lays a solid foundation for future “eyes” in the smart era.
