so I was surfing the ebay today, and came across these GiFi 2800mah batteries. Does anyone have any experience with these?

They're about the right size and for the price, I'm willing to give one a go if anyone can tell me it won't blow my Quad to bits.

Personally I'd just get a more well-known brand in that price range.

If you're not familiar with Pulse lipos they're pretty well-known with the single-rotor heli crowd. At the very least buy them from a reputable dealer like RC Depot or HeliDirect.

GensAce / Sky Lipos also work well - just find the ones that fit at HobbyPartz.com

Thanks, I kind of had the same impression. If there is one thing I've learned about shopping eBay, is to research everything. There's a lot of junk on there.
