Basecam IMU Setup?

I have a 32bit two IMU basecam gimbal controller. My Steadidrone QU4D instructions leaves very much to be desired. My dilemma is I have no idea where to mount the IMU's, I cam mount one behind the camera but I have no idea where to mount the other one. Any ideas from people who have mounted Alexmos gimbal controllers before would be helpful.

The other one is the frame reference IMU. Mount it on the part of the gimbal that is suspended from the frame in rubber gaskets.

Ah, ok. The rubber gaskets are on the arm.
Anyhow, the second IMU shuold be affixed to the frame.

I know this may seem like kind of a stupid question but you're referring to the frame of the multi-copter not the frame of the gimbal correct? The friend of the gimbal doesn't have space for another imu.

It is a reference IMU. It should be attached to any part of your aircraft that is not controlled by the basecam controller.
