Any advantages of using heli mode as to acro mode?

Most manufacturers tell us to use Acro mode on our radios but some of the vendors have recommended using heli mode. Most of are using heli radios, so what harm could come from using heli mode if there arent any mixers/collective pitch settings? what I am wondering is if it enables more functionality on the radio since it is a heli radio. For what it's worth I am using the JR9503.

Hey Yuri, I use heli mode for all my models except for planes. I'm just used to it, plus depending on the radio, it gives more more flexibility with throttle curves and using throttle hold as a safety switch when I'm not flying.
