After switching evo arms a motor runs fast

I have replaced all the arms of the s800 with the new evo arms, which are a lot stiffer, really a remarkable difference, and tried it out for he first time, one arm M6 ran at a much higher RPM than the rest, it's very clear on the OSD log, a great deal faster, I did mange to get it up, and with a lot of trim it would stay in one place, but if trimmed to ) it would drift, being pushed by the M6 arm.
Any idea why this would happen? What would cause the motor to run that much faster?. They were all working fine on the old arms of course.

I assume a separate problem happened at the end of the last short flight when motor 5 blipped and case a near drop and I landed it ok, but motor 5 would twitch and spin a little even after al the others had stopped, I can only assume this is a bad solder on the esc?

any suggestions on the faster motor?

I should add I alos changed the props to the amazing T motor 15 inch props, which is way stiffer than the DJI ones.
thanks
