A2 Weirdness

Ok, just built up an S900 with an A2 I had around and had a weird test flight. In GPS mode red blinked 3 times, 2 times, once then all LEDs stopped altogether. Yes, I did imu and compass Cali. Switched to ATTI and LEDs normal. Tried very low flight in ATTI and all was well. Any ideas??? I have never seen no lights at all.

Hi, read the manual about lights code and search the version because the code change the one to other.

No lights would suggest you have good gps and in manual mode.

Yes, but I do not have this rig set up to fly in manual.

It is extremely important that the red LED lights stop flashing altogether before you take-off!

Red represents a failure to achieve a complete GPS satellite lock!

Once they stop altogether you can take-off in Attitude or GPS mode. Also there may be no more LED flashes until you take off.

Once your MR is off the ground you should see slower flashing yellow LEDs for attitude mode or slower flashing blue indicating you are in GPS mode.
But within a 30 meter radius you might get alternating yellow with blue (or was that cyan)....

In any case it is all in the A2 manual.
