A Happy Event and a big Thank You to Gunter

After watching the multirotor world for the last year, I finally took the plunge and took advantage of Gunter's offer to build me a DJI-M F550. Gunter and I work together from time to time. I've been practicing with my little MQX for a week or two and when I went to make a short maiden flight with Gunter with my new machine I was amazed at how stable and controllable it is. To prevent the machine from landing on wet grass, I was able as a first time flier to bring the F550 back to Gunter to catch it by hand, and do so with some confidence.

Yesterday, with still some strong winds, I was able to demonstrate the 'hands-off hang the beast in the air and it stays put' to some astonished guests who have heard me wittering about aerial photography for months.

So, Gunter a big thank you.

Next is to get a gimbal and suitable camera to sling under it. I'm thinking GH2 and the aeroxcraft landing gear.

I'm still on the baby slopes of this game, but I'm looking forward to making it contribute some commercial benefit to my photographic business, which is photography in the cultural heritage sector and architecture. I specialise in panoramas, architecture and fine art reproduction.

Best to all, I've been learning whilst lurking Thank you

Hugh
