Hello Heavy Lifter Folks,

Any of you HL chaps have any 5S battery recommendations? 5D2/3/FS700/Scarlet payload type batteries. Any experience in particular with the wicked high mah/not so much C rating Maxamps - believe 10,500 was the preference in that brand? All help very much appreciated!!!!!

Thx!!

I'm flying nanotecs and this is the best i've ever seen these last... i'm only 10 cycles in on em but the ir hasn't moved, but it's been pretty cool out and it always has an alarm hanging off the pack so they have never been near empty..... no heat, overall impressed. there 5s 8 amp hour and were flying pairs

my luck with these n the past has been horrible.

Hi,
My specs for HL Skyjib are the following request if this sounds good:
The specs of the motor are
Poles- 10 Poles
KV- about 685 1/min/volt
Inner resistance-about 42.5 milli Ohms
Current with no load at 11 volts-1.3 A
XOAR Props 14x5
10000 mah 5S 25 C LIPO from Genace
The above is my combination of motor,Props and battery...I hope this combo along with Herkules 3 with XL cooling plate works....
Cheers

where did you find 10 amp hour gensace? or is that pairs of 5000mah?

42 miliohms is up there. i used to get 18 mili ohm gens ace 25c, now they all come over 30 to start with and seem easier to damage than i remember in the past.

the nanos i'm flying are measuring 26 mo on the connector, 2 mo per cell on the balance plug

Hobbypartz and there not very smart, nor well suited for the task. They stock em 1 to 2 times a year it seems.........nothing over 5000 mah, and the last 2 times i've bought and a friend as well got bunk packs.... IR was sky high and one cell was low voltage

Kloner..... thanks......Very good information....... I will stick with the Turnigy and/or Nano-Tech batteries for now.
Bill Gates refers to these and similar situations as "friction" in the free enterprise system....... Luddites again!
