:livid: HELP(pardon the shouting), I am ready to downgrade to KK 2.0 and use a hammer on the NAZA m! All the quad does is flop over on takeoff.

Build:

Wooden frame 550mm
Hextronics 750 kV motors
30 amp Red Brick ESC
Turnigy 9x tx/rx
NAZA m
Gemfan 9x4.7 props
Weight with 2200 mah 3s battery: 1100 grams

1. All motor have correct rotation and props.
2. ESCs are calibrated.
3. Connections between Rx and mc are correct and function.
4. Channel 5 as switching channel to Atti.
5. Channels 6 and 7, X1 and X2 respectively.
6. The assistant show correct setup and functionality. Starting settings for MC are at default.

At the point of takeoff the motor dramatically rev up and fight one another.

End result is a spectacular flop over with prop pieces flying everywhere.

Make sure the motors and props are correctly set for orientation. My 450 was doing the same thing, turns out 2 of my motors was wrong. Removed the props, fire it up and with a piece of paper, note the direction of each motor. When you have the directions, check them against the assistant motormaster. Remember the props should be cutting into the air and causing a downward airflow.

a friend had this problem. he realised that although he thought the prop rotations were correct, the instruction manual was in fact WRONG. Instead, use the diagram displayed in the Naza assistant software, this is the correct one.

Dont touch anything when taking off until the entire quad is off the ground

touch the aileron too much when powering up and it will roll every time..
