350QX2 GPS INITIALIZATION ISSUE

Having a small issue here with the GPS initialization. I have a new control board, GPS w/antenna and compass. I keep getting the high/low w/4beeps. My Tx trims are a 0. I am at least 10' away from any metal. Although I don't get the blue blinking lights to bind it does give me the tone that it did bind. I do the dance and nothing happens. I do wait for about 10/15 sec after the dance, but no change. Horizon can't help over the phone and want me to send it in. Not a chance. What am I missing, please?

Just spoke with Horizon Hobby and one of the Techs suggested updating to V3. He said that some of the issues with V2 were corrected in V3. I'll give that a try tomorrow and will post one way or another.
