That is what I would do. I have the DJI system and have been very pleased...I am thinking of adding a separate camera controller for high end work. I am going to get a second 5.8 receiver and share the feed with the camera operator. I think for 80% of the work that would be fine. However if you lose line of sight it could make the job difficult if the gimbal is 3 axis. If its 2 axis no problem since the gimbal is locked to a forward position only.
