Xaircraft has a skype account and I always get a response whenever I send a message to them through skype.

Cost you even more than buying XA's hexa frame.

I dunno about the esc but the Naza does support flat hexa. There's a much cheaper flight controller system due to release by XA, though.

Did you load the correct firmwares for the v2 AHRS and FC? The current firmware and software release is not a proper release, its a limited release for those who just want to get their quads to fly without waiting for the proper release.

Have you calibrated the compass? Search for xaircraft compass calibration video in vimeo and do it exactly as per video instruction.

I use 8FGS. It's easy to trigger failsafe. If your flight mode switch remains aux 4, just assign LT or RT as the trim switch. Trigger either one of them to its fullest position and check with the screen on the config software that the flight mode has jumped to failsafe.
