Advice on motor upgrade for CineStar 6

Did a similar 7 minutes flight with new Tiger 2826-6 motors and the warmest ended up at 47 C degrees immediately after flight.:nevreness: Another side effect was also that it felt more responsive and stable in gusty, wind which it was today during the test.

Advice on motor upgrade for CineStar 6

Thank you Vojec for your very valuable feedback! Is yours a hexa (not octo) as well? So you think a Xoar 13x6.5 will put less stress on the motors than APC 14x4.7?

Advice on motor upgrade for CineStar 6

Thank you bensid54 for your input! I'm a bit puzzled. My accs 12000 mAh 4S, which gives me an absolute max flight time of 10 minutes (calculated of course). This gives an average of 80A, which in turn a power consumption of 80 x 15 / 6 = 200W per motor. The QC-3328 is rated for "Mechanical...

Advice on motor upgrade for CineStar 6

Hi! I need some advice if I should go for a motor upgrade on my CineStar 6 or not. I'm having a reasonably good working CS6 with FFS-3328 motors (700 kV), which I think is equivalent with Tiger 2814-11. The AUW is 7 kg so it puts ~1.2kg on each motor. It hoovers around 55% throttle with...

how to get rid of twitchy behavior??!!

Hi edykosta! Coming in late in the thread, but found it googling around desperately for hints to solve my problems. I'm having a very similar setup as you, CS6, WKM, 700kV motors and APC 14x4.7. It is getting quite nervous in the slightest wind and often to the extent that my brushless gimbal...

I've only got one set of hands..... pilot, photographer or both?

Hi gtranquilla! I agree to your comments, but I think yawn control when using course lock mode with Wookong M gives me the same freedom of video angles as with yawn on a 3-axis gimbal. I also fly with a second operator for camera when the situation requires it, but without any extra weight and...

I've only got one set of hands..... pilot, photographer or both?

Hi! Like already mentioned in the thread, taking pictures is not really an issue. However, video is a completely different story. Ideally two operators and a three axis gimbal is what most people use. However, a setup with two operators has its limitation as well, since it requires lots of...

    Looking for Operator in Sweden

Hi Dave! For professional aerial photo and filming in Sweden you need a license from the Swedish "Transportstyrelsen"(ours is UAS 1B-623). This is a license that has to be renewed every year. You must also have a special insurance from Interhannover covering damages and injuries for third...

Anyone used RC roll input control on ArmBGC V3.0

Hi all! I've just converted a 2-axis Cinestar gimbal to BL with components from brushlessgimbals.com. It seems to work all pretty well but one function seems to be "broken". The RC INPUT for roll axis does not work for me. It is kind of dead. The RC INPUT for pitch works just fine and also...

    Looking for Operator in Sweden

Hi Dave! Depends on how heavy. I have a CS6 with 500mm booms and a reasonably sized BL gimbal. I personally fly with Lumix GH3 since I find it delivering footage quality as good as with heavier professional cameras. I live in Stockholm and runs a small business http://www.vyfabriken.se (site...

Cinestar 2 Axis Converted Into A MoVi??

Good choice in my opinion. My latest MR is a Cinestar 6 with 2-axis gimbal. I don't want 3-axis gimbals for reasons explained in the topmost item in my tech blog http://techblog.vyfabriken.se/. I'm in the process of converting my Cinestar gimbal to brushless, also mentioned on my blog. A CS6 can...
