Yea it's a black board, I sold my first green one ages ago. I'll look up the new GPS firmware and hardware. I've also got an external mag that I never got around to fitting. Still worth doing?

So all my Hoverfly gear has been sitting in an unused model for ages now. Without trialling through all the threads could I ask a couple of simple questions? Is it worth me trying again with my HFP/GPS? Is it now a super reliable platform? Is it just outdated by modern FC's? Thanks W

Thanks kloner. I have some APC 8x3.8 to hand, i'll throw them on and just see what happens. I have a CC3D in there right now but i'd prefer to have that back on my small quad and the HFP/GPS back in the Disco. I cant tune the CC3D as well as i could on the other quad so maybe the motor/prop/ESC...

The motors 'felt' ok spinning up with the props off, holding the frame in my hand, no excessive vibration. Annoyingly i didn't turn on the gopro despite it being on the to help balance it. Props are well balanced too including the hubs.

Hmmm, mine ARE 10" but only 3.8 pitch. about 50%

A reply from HFP support has lead me to a resolution. I think my SD card wasn't inserted correctly or wasn't being registered. After putting it all aback together and having the SD card in and out to check for a file, it works just like it should. Arms fine now. thanks HF!
