New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

Hi, the unit is pretty compact ( well everything is relative lol) and solid. I did build a over motorized Little Spider to have fun with it, but 250 size seems a bit limited in term of power.. I would rather go atlas for 350 is or around... Spare units tx / rx should be available ( RX for sure)...

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

HI, the SDI version is actually the Skylink. Connex is a new product, but for sure if they have success i do not see why they wouldn't think in a SDI version. But well, it's is still less cheaper to use a SDI converter rather than buy a SDI enable unit at the moment :)))) BEst regards, Fabien

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

Hi Tim, nice to see you here :) For the questions about range and others : - Range : we achieve 750 meters in France with 25MW. This unit uses MIMO technology. Normal power ( USA and other countries) allows up to 1km. - Skylink : we have been using it also and if you get no more than 150...

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

It is absolutly not a fake :) We have been testing the system with Amimon engineers, marketing manager and tech support manager end of january, and this thing is awesome ! Even if it was not recommended to do so, we could not help and used the Sbus port to fly a Little Spyder with a Naza V2 to...

Brushless Gimbal Complete - Vendor Links

Hi, I won't post any commercial / pricing informations here, but just let you know that the TBS mount / mod is done, no drill and no cut ( just that the FPV camera has to be relocated somewhere else lol ). Proto mount works like a charm and we are producing them next week, they will be...

    Increasing throttle causes proportional yaw?

Hi something maybe stupid but... Have you checked the channnel monitor on your transmitter to check the yam potentiometer of the transmitter is doing good and not giving ome inputs ? Could be also a bad vibration from a motor ( bent shaft) ? Best regards, Fabien

    Sony CX730/740/760 info centre

Hi, yes, if you use the Radian then you should be bale to make panoramas very slow and smooth, and more important, with a steady yaw speed on the gimbal, and this will make a great difference. Then, when compresing for vimeo or youtube the compress codec and settings will make it look good, or...

    Sandy's aftermath

It could be a interresting discusion to have with the local authorities to create a small group to gain access to these areas ? I guess they limit access for both safety and stealing issues maybe, some people unfortunatly like to take advantage of such bad situations :( Dang, if i could be in...

    Sony CX730/740/760 info centre

Hi, the camera will be able to " delete" all small vibrations and jerky movements, and smoothen the compensation, except for Roll. But if your Roll compensation is setup correctly on your gimbal, you should be all fine. Most Roll issues people ca get are simply that they reach the mechanical...

Real tests in sustained 50 to 70 km/h sustained winds

Hi, it's not problems in telling these, as i'm not "selling" anything in this post, i just wondered what it would do when flying in these conditions. The best thing i can tell you is, listen to the big FXFC planes ( big gaz engines), you simply don"t hear them as the wind was directed in the...

Real tests in sustained 50 to 70 km/h sustained winds

Hi, for the moment the system is still a prototype and i won't say much as explained in some previous posts (there is a lot of long and hard work enclosed in this little thing and any technical interresting detail i woud write would be a gift for our competitors, there has been a time when i...

Real tests in sustained 50 to 70 km/h sustained winds

Hi, i wanted to check by myself how a standard frame and 2 axis gimbal ( Mikrokopter Hexa XL and DSLR II gimbal) performed in REAL winds after seeing some let's say promo videos on internet... As usual i was using the little " Box " for system and gimbal stabilisation. I made this video today...

    Hoverfly Fast Descent - Wobbles?

Hi, the behaviour in descents can be also sometimes linked to the profile of the motor supports ( arms), as they " break" the airflux and create a disturbance in which the props are spinning themselve ( they work in their own disturbed airflow). You can, sometimes, reduce this phenomena by...

DJI Naza-M with GPS Toilet Bowl Effect on a F550 everything stock 8" props

Hi, this could be due to several things : - GPS conditions : number of sats you catch and accuracy ( HACC). Over some accuracy level, then you will get a TBE. - Batteries you use : some can generate strong EMI disturbing the compass that is enclosed with the GPS sensor) - External EMI source...

Don't go flying your MR in Israel .....

Hi, they said it made it over the sea, so if it was a DJI, i don't care about the frames and wookong or even the gimbal, but i want his batteries !!!! lol !
