Hi. I have bought a hobbyking 20 amp ESC (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__14871__H_KING_20A_Fixed_Wing_Brushless_Speed_Controller.html). The red of battery is conncted to red of ESC and black to black.The throttle signal comes from the controller to white wire of ESC a 50 hz sq. wave...

But as per my knowledge servo works on PWM not PPM. And from 50% throttle i want to mean if the frequency is 1Hz then the on time of the pulse would be 0.5sec. This is what i have picturized in my mind.

So if we want to run the motor on 50% throttle, then we would apply a sq. wave of 50% duty cycle?

Hi all. This is a type of silly question, but any ways i want to clear my self. In an ESC there are 3 wires on the o/p side for motor connection. On the i/p side there are 2 wires that goes to the battery and 1 wire that is the BEC. If that is all than what makes the connection b/w the...

SO 167/4=42 Therefore each motor should be able to provide approx 42 watts. Thanks for your help....:D

Dont you think 170 watts for 1kg is too much:confused:? As far i have read it takes me around 110-120 watts? Correct me if i am wrong.....

I have some problem calculating my total flight time(Quadcopter). The formula i have read is T(min)=Battery power(AH)*60/Total current drawn by motors. 1 motor=13.5A 4 motors=54A Battery=4.4AH Then T=4.89 I want to ask that the formula i am using is right and what is this 4.89...

Hey Guys. Since most of the Quads weighs in a range of 1.2-1.5 kgs. So i would like to know that what are the appropriate motors available to lift that much of weight. Any experienced advice......?:confused::confused:
