I am just beginning and will build my first drone i hear that in the US there is a rule about not loosing line of sight when flying your drone so what about some long range fpv gear or transmitetrs etc... what are they for?

Are actuators used in multirotors in any way? If so how? How about plane type UAVs? If so how?

I was reading the features of a multirotor flight controller and one of them says: "Supports Remote Gain Adjustment from the Transmitter" what is this? what does it do? is it important?

I read that the PDBs can handle only so much current. Up to what value they can handle? if we have current PDB can not handle then what do we do? And a very beginner question but do we simply add all the currents of motors in order to come up with total current value? by the way do we add ESC...

ok thats what i needed to know, in other words, choosing flight controller comes first and only then you shuold choose motors to fit that correct?

thanks a lot but one question. when you say you built your custom board with 2 strips, how is only 2 wire enough for those many connections?

does my drone have to have a power distribution board or i can just achieve the same result only by connecting cables? also i read somewhere that the contact points of power distribution board must be gold plated for maximum efficiency. is it true? if so are all the commercially available power...
