DYS 3 Axis Gimbal problems - Can anyone help please!

I'll give those things a try. Thanks Somebody said if you update with firmware above a certain number it bricks the controller completely, I take it that as I am getting flashing lights when plugged into the computer, that it is not bricked?

Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but I assume after everything is set up with a Quad or Hex that it is then OK to programme in Expo and Dual Rates. Steve

    RC Timer

Placed an order for a Hexcopter 10 days ago, it arrived today direct, no extras. I have to say that they were great to deal with, I asked for different motors in the kit and they accommodated me no problem. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Kinda thought that might be the answer, my only thoughts were to get motors with a bit more oomph to lift a camera easliy. As a stock kit what will the F450 lift weight wise? Steve

I have been looking on Ebay and there would appear to be a wide array of frames for sale as well as motors and speed controllers all at reasonable prices. So for instance is it worth getting the DJI motors and ESCs or are the ebay ones just as good. Also what appears to be DJI frame clones...

IrisAerial, Many thanks for the offer, with the price in dollars I assume that you are in th US? Not sure if I would have to pay any taxes if you sent it over or what it would cost but I will look into it. What Xaircraft model is it so I can investigate and do you have any pics? Other that...

Thanks for the reply Ross, wasn't sure if this page was the one to use for asking for advice so I have posted on the general page. Anyway, my budget is not great (in fact just now it doesn't exist but soon I hope) but I was looking at something along the lines of the DJI F450 Quad which is...

First Multi Rotor - What's the best value in my price range

I would have tagged on to the other recent thread on a first purchase but that is way over budget. Having heard some horror stories on reliability and programming difficulties with some products, I don't know what's what! I'm looking at something like a DJI F450 or similar, any advice out there...

F450 vs F550 in windy condition

Droider, I have just joined the forum today as I am thinking of buying a Quadcopter of some description. The DJI F450 looks a good option and I'm glad it can handle wind and living wher I do, if you don't fly in a wind, you don't fly nery often. I have a Nikon Coolpix 7900 and reckon for my...
