I'll give those things a try. Thanks Somebody said if you update with firmware above a certain number it bricks the controller completely, I take it that as I am getting flashing lights when plugged into the computer, that it is not bricked?

Board Version 1 - Firmware 2.3b4 When plugged into the GUI I get flashing lights but it is jittery and will not "lock" when I unplug it and try plugging in flight battery, I get nothing it just looks dead! Any help would be much appreciated.

Got my Landing Gear built and fitted, no gimbal as yet but hope to start filming with the fixed camera mount very soon. Great quality products and can't wait to get going, will post my first video providing quality is OK. Cheers Steve

Placed an order for a Hexcopter 10 days ago, it arrived today direct, no extras. I have to say that they were great to deal with, I asked for different motors in the kit and they accommodated me no problem. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Kinda thought that might be the answer, my only thoughts were to get motors with a bit more oomph to lift a camera easliy. As a stock kit what will the F450 lift weight wise? Steve

I have been looking on Ebay and there would appear to be a wide array of frames for sale as well as motors and speed controllers all at reasonable prices. So for instance is it worth getting the DJI motors and ESCs or are the ebay ones just as good. Also what appears to be DJI frame clones...
