    XAircraft SuperX on heavy lifter

I still have a phantom 1 too! Just flew it yesterday. It's kind of my beater unit I can abuse for fun.

    XAircraft SuperX on heavy lifter

Look at this. We are in 2019. I'm dusting off my 960 hexa and 680 quad, SuperX and MiniX respectively. I don't even have a computer with the super x software on it anymore. Should I even dare try to fly these things or just throw them away and get something new?

    XAircraft SuperX on heavy lifter

I still have one. Have not flown in since last year but it is still in operation. I've asked this question and the responses were that the SX is a goner.

XAircraft Long Time Since I've Checked In - what's new with XA?

Bugger. Thanks for the warning. I haven't logged massive hours with my SX so maybe I have some life left.. Or maybe I should just pull it. HMMM.

XAircraft Long Time Since I've Checked In - what's new with XA?

It has been a long time since I've been around. FAA rules and irate freaks harassing me kind of turned me off of flying. But now that summer is here I'm thinking of powering my racing quads back up, and my 960 SuperX machine, and my 680 MiniX Alien frame. Anything new with XAircraft? Are...

XAircraft Using SuperX following a mayor crash?

Well, what was the cause of the crash? If the cause was the FC then NO WAY! I've relaunched a 680 using the same FC (MiniX) after a completely devastating crash after determining the FC was not damaged.

Hopefully soon. Waiting for an FPV TX and a receiver. Then I hope to get her airborne. Snow everywhere here though.

FAA Announces Small UAS Registration Rule

Odd thing is it is worded such that if you intend to use them for commercial, you don't have to register this one.

    XAircraft Minix and GoPro gimal

That kind of depends on your budget to feature ratio. For the money the MiniX is great and even has an OSD option which still puts it under half the cost of the Super. But the Super is.... super. Very stable. The MiniX is stable too, except for me when flying in GPS mode then slowing or...

    XAircraft Minix and GoPro gimal

I have a MiniX & GoPro gimbal setup. I control the gimbal directly from my receiver as far as pitch and roll goes... Same with bigger gimbals. I also have a SuperX machine and same deal, control the gimbal directly from the receiver.

    multi-rotor recommendation needed for work

I guess you should ask several questions: 1. What is your budget? 2. Do you want to build a bird or are you looking for a RTF (ready to fly)? 3. What kind of load does it need to carry in terms of camera/analysis gear? 4. What flight time do you require?

Anyone Attending InterDrone Las Vegas Conference?

It's about a 6 hour drive for me to get there, but I can't miss my home college football game so I'm staying put.

XAircraft HALP! I lost my satellites on my MiniX!

Check your cable connection to your GPS unit. This same thing happened to me, suddenly zero satellites. On inspection the GPS cable was loose.

XAircraft XAircraft Mini X - MRF’s Got One!

I've had no problems with the MiniX, but it is on a quad. It will go up to octo so I don't see an issue.

    XAircraft SuperX

Sounds similar to issues I had. If it is the same issue, it relates to the throttle range and throttle calibration. I ended up finding some others with a similar issue. The resolution was to set the throttle range on the Taranis from -90 to +100, then do the ESC endpoint calibration for all...

    XAircraft Interpreting Black Box Data

Looks just like my logs when this happened to me, twice. I assumed it was user error both times. Fortunately my bird recovered in time both times. One time I was some 750 feet up and it fell about 500 feet before recovering.
