This is good news, details on the new gimbal say that it will help get rid of the fish tail effect. As my F550 gets heavier it seems the fish tail has gotten worse, the video is still pretty good, going to be amazing now.

Yes, that's a good point about testing in the assistant first. Certainly much better doing it there then finding out that your throttle failsafe is not set correctly. While you can test with a switch that will not validate that you have bind set correctly on the receiver will it?

The receiver was not bound previously but no fast flashing light indicating it was ready to bind. I pulled another receiver out of a different heli and no problems now. I've actually got my first two flights in, so far so good. Thanks for the responses.

I might have found the problem, I checked another receiver and i'm getting power to it so I believe this receiver has gone bad. Glad it happened on the bench and not in the air! :)
