The WooKong is dead, long live the A2

Some dealers took the mega-deal off their web-site, but it is still avaliable at a few places: http://www.espritmodel.com/dji-wookong-m-mega-pack.aspx http://onedrone.com/store/flight-electronics/autopilots-and-stabilizers-1373155445/mega-dji-pack-wkm-datalink-bluetooth-led-iosd-ii-50-wp.html...

    WARNING - Firmware 5.24

Can't remember if I have red it here or on another forum, but somebody mentioned that he could only get rid of the problems by using the old LED......somebody else mentioned that he always had to completely switch off his iPhone / iPad before starting the copter....apperantely the App wouldn't...

Had a silly idea but thought I should ask the experts

Just glad that there is no man-carrying RC-copters arround.......next business idea would be copter-delivered hookers..... Chris

The WooKong is dead, long live the A2

It would make sense....just take the housing from the new A2 IMU, pack the old IMU electronics into it, lable it as IMU v2 and sell it as "upgrade".....now guess what happens to all the old IMU's in the plastic housing which people have to "trade in" before they get this "upgrade"....??? It's...

Had a silly idea but thought I should ask the experts

Trouble is......your idea is not really new in the UK: http://www.nbcnews.com/technology/dominos-domicopter-drone-can-deliver-two-large-pepperonis-6C10182466 The guys behind the Multicopter (looks like a Droidworx SyJib with Wookong M) are from Aerosight in the UK...

Apparently DJI Have Released a NEW S800 - The EVO

Maybe it was the case, but how does this look like: ? I had my SuperX for a while on my work-bench and put it in a TBS Disco just out of curiosity, and I can confirm what is seen in this video.....in that wind the my Naza would already puke and be out of control.... You won't find ANY...

The WooKong is dead, long live the A2

Judging by the pictures of the A2 floating arround, it seems that the "new" Wookong IMU v2 and the IMU from the A2 are identical. To get a container full of aluminium housings is not really a big deal for DJI and can be done very quickly....so the A2 IMU's might have been finished long before...

The WooKong is dead, long live the A2

The Zenmuse got it's own "electronical control" ....it just needs to additionally be connected to a Wookong IMU. Doesn't serve any purpose exept that DJI wants to force you to not only buy the Zenmuse but also buy the Wookong. By getting your hands onto any "cheap" Wookong IMU you can use the...

The WooKong is dead, long live the A2

It's always difficult to give advice about FC'S since it depends a lot on what features you want. I personally changed step by step towards ZeroUAV YS-X6 (more features, takes some time to set-up, lots of good set-up videos avalible) and the Xaircraft SuperX (less features, super-easy to set up...

The WooKong is dead, long live the A2

Heheheheh....DJI took the A2 off their web-site, that's why you can't find any info there.....what might be the reason ??? On the other hand, it's already up for pre-order: http://www.buildyourowndrone.co.uk/DJI-A2-p/dji-a2.htm http://www.aerialtechnology.com/dji-a2-flight-controller/ I...
