Foolproof? I guess I'm not a fool then. Took me a couple of runs to get it working but now that I know the "process" I could do the whole thing in minutes.

My SuperX is quite amazing in loiter mode.

Awesome, but so many logistical things to overcome. Can't help but thinking that the video portrays LONG distance flying. I'm trying to get my bird with a load to fly more than 10-15 minutes.

Added some annotations to the end of the video. Didn't realize there was some blank space there.

Finally got my retracts installed and working on my Tarot 960 hexa. Fun stuff. Love how much power the hex has without the gimbal and camera. Can't wait to NOT have my landing gear in the images.

Got my MiniX H4 Alien quad flying, after a slight problem with motor wiring. Those pesky Y motor wires got me. Cost me two props.

I'm working on the same thing. I have an 8XR and that can be custom programmed for failsafe which can include putting the gear down.

I hope to maiden my first MiniX build later today. Latest build log entry here: http://goo.gl/Hy2Gac So far it is nearly exactly the same setup as the SX and I breezed through that (knocking on wood now). Didn't have any throttle range issues with the MiniX like I did with the SX either...

Such a logical question and I didn't immediately know the answer. Failsafe on the Taranis is set as custom, with channel 6 (safe mode) set at 100 and thats IT. Sounds like I could just set my channel 16 to 100 (the retracts), and burn that same setting into the X8R's failsafe?
