The Hero 2 is a 12MP camera and the Hero 1 is 5MP. The main result is better resolution for stills although the video resolution appears to remains the same (up to 1080p). It also has additional recording resolution settings. As far as I know its the same price the Hero1 was (and you might now...
3000 mAh 3S 20C gives me around 10 minutes constant FPV flying (forward movement with the occasional hover). When I recharge them, the charger generally shows the cells at around 3.78V each so I could probably get a few more minutes if I tried.
Mine has the Naza mounted right in the centre. I try to keep wires away from anything that might cause interference so I route them around the edges rather than through the middle.
What goggles are you using FlyEYE. I found (for me anyway) I need reasonable resolution (640 x 480) for hovering otherwise it seems to take me longer to respond to changes in position. In fact good goggles reduces the load considerably in all aspects of FPV flight. I also found it was easier...
The consensus seems to say 72 MHz over 2.4 GHz for a number of reasons - one being longer range at 72 MHz and the other being the risk of losing or damaging your copter if the 2.4 GHz system hits failsafe. That being said, Im flying a 2.4 GHz DX6i at present which is reported to have a range of...
Nice first flight Boris. It adds extra pressure when you do your first FPV in the garden with all those obstacles around you - especially with your wife watching from the doorway ;-)
Hi Yuri
Ive just come back from flying FPV with piccoloflyer and he has an F550. After seeing your legs on my F450 he wanted some so I told him you had 6 legs left. He will try to contact you today for them.

I was made aware of this issue when I was looking at 5.8 GHz equipment. In the end I bought the Foxtech gear (for other reasons) so the issue didn't arise for me.
Kloner - is the cannon for your 5.8GHz video system or your 2.4GHz RC system? Seems to me you already had video reception beyond...
Thanks all. I'm just about to replace my orange receiver (with satellite) for an AR6200 with satellite so it looks like I should be quite safe at around 600 meters with a standard system. I can use my OSD to monitor the range.
Will be interested in your results kloner.
I've considered...
