Interesting, something I want to do myself but I've read in different places that some people feel the SkyJib frame isn't up to it. I was going to change my T3515-15s for U7s but was thinking the frame may not be up to it, what do you think?

What motors for that set up Pete and was it a flat 8?

I was thinking going UHF for pilot but was wondering how frequency hopping would work at 459 mHz i.e. not sure it can, can it? Or get a ham licence to use 433 mHz and above? Not many 8 plus channel options at 5.8 and I worry about range?

Hi ZAxis, I think I've asked you already about flying in extreme cold but think the question got lost as you were helping me with something else. Anyway, good to know OK to fly that far north but was wondering about the extreme cold and how to keep the batteries warm, how did you manage that?

So you're saying the pilot is on a standalone 2.4 radio and the camera op has a 5.8 radio that sends its commands over LB to control the gimbal? I thought LB transmits over 2.4 so even if the camera op has a 5.8 radio to control the gimbal the signal from the 5.8 radio gets converted to 2.4 and...

I think I know the answer but I want to know what you guys think. 2 man set up at present using two radios on 2.4 to control MR (with WKM FC) and gimbal separately. Just bought a LB and want to control gimbal only through LB, is this possible? If not is there a work around?

I've seen the job listings on their website as well. Just can't see how they'll get permission for unmonitored flights everywhere when we find it very, very difficult to get permission for monitored l.o.s. flights in London. So still think years away, if at all.

I've had seagulls come close to my SkyJib but at about 4-5ft they turn away, very scary. I have wondered if there's a small bird scarer out there that can be triggered remotely??

I'd like one if it fits t-motor 3515-15??
