DJI iOSD or TBS ezOSD with Wookong M with GPS

Yeah I agree, My skyjib will carry my Red Epic so I'll be playing it safe for sure. I have a shoot planned in the mountains so lots of trees and obstacles so I've read the better stronger receiver the better the video link. I'd like to have more than 200 meters to have the option of flying...

DJI iOSD or TBS ezOSD with Wookong M with GPS

Thanks so much. I think its point me to the iOSD. I'd love to get the DJI video link but it seems under powered so the range wont be as good as getting a Immersion RC 600mw 5.8Ghz Transmitter with Immersion RC 5.8Ghz Duo 5800 Diversity Receiver. Is my logic correct?

Aeronavics / Droidworx Arm for FPV camera mounting on a SkyJib 8 v2

I'm building a SkyJib 8 version 2 at the moment and wanted to mount an arm/pole pointing up to the sky to one of the booms, so I can mount a GoPro3 to this pole as a FPV camera and have it point slightly down to see the SkyJib frame in the shot so I can judge distance from obstacles easier. I...

DJI iOSD or TBS ezOSD with Wookong M with GPS

Does the iOSD tie into the Wookong's GPS? or does it have its own separate GPS in the unit? I'm assuming it ties into the Wookong's but could be wrong. Is it a bad thing to have 2 GPS units on a SkyJib? Too much interference or fighting for a signal?

DJI iOSD or TBS ezOSD with Wookong M with GPS

Please could some help me. I'm trying to figure out which OSD to go for. I have a DJI Wookong M with GPS and the 900Mhz Data Link. Should I get the DJI iOSD that ties into the Wookong's GPS or do I get the TBS ezOSD that has its own GPS? I'll also be using a ImmersionRC FPV 5.8Ghz 600mW Tx...

First Build, First flight, can't fly... help

I ended up cutting a transparent round tupperware container that the F550 sits in now and makes a great case to keep the electronics away from the snow :-)

First Build, First flight, can't fly... help

Thanks I'll keep an eye on it. The issue I'm having isn't from falling snow as I'm flying on a blue bird sunny day, my issue is hard landing into the snow pack and snow getting into the body and jamming in around the electronics. I don't know what else to do except to seal the body closed to...

First Build, First flight, can't fly... help

I went out flying today, there was a bit of wind but couldn't help the excitement. Managed really well and am super happy. I'm out in the Rocky Mountains of BC, Canada so there is snow everywhere. I'm thinking I'll wrap my F550 body in plastic wrap to avoid snow getting into the MC and...

Thanks you all. I re-tested the rotation of my motors and I had Motor 1 set the wrong way. I installed the 8" props and just tested it and it takes off fine now. Its dark out now so I'll have to wait till tomorrow to play some more. Boy this is fun. Thanks so much for all your help, I really...

First Build, First flight, can't fly... help

Hi there I'm new to this forum and have built a DJI F550 with Wookong M, using 10" props and 1x Zippy 5S 5000mAh battery. My controller is a Futaba T10CG with R6014HS receiver. Everything built fine and tested, I set up the Wookong MC using the software. I first tried flying in ATTI mode...
