UPDATE: I'm really pleased to report that I got immediate responses from both DJI and John Wood of RcHobbyHelicopter.com and they arranged for John to replace my GPS/Compass unit once I ran some tests to verify the unit wasn't working. I'm VERY happy with the responsiveness of both DJI and John.

Indeed. John is who I now use and he is very attentive and responsive. Moreover, he operates on a somewhat time-shifted basis so that he is able to speak live via Skype with the guys at DJI quite frequently. I've found this very helpful as he is able to pose specific questions on my behalf...
