    Hoverfly Hoverfly Gimbal Controller?

I preordered one for my 3 axis cinestar. I'm just hoping it works well. If it doesn't, it's going back. I'm betting it will work well though.

What do you want from your Flight Control company??

Bart, it seems you've covered almost all of the bases. I'm a big fan of my FC, but it'd be nice if it came with a case instead of being a bare board. Plastic or aluminum would be cool. As an example, the case on the new Skookum Robotics SK540 flybarless control looks pretty nice.

Hoverfly Just got "Auto-Level" working - WOW!

With mine set at 25, it teetered back and forth and nearly flipped. In the manual it states that with Futaba, all the channels should be reversed. I only reversed channels 1 through 4 (the sticks). As I experiment more with it, I'll report back. A few details about my aircraft: It's a CS8...

Hoverfly Just got "Auto-Level" working - WOW!

Oddly, mine is at 110 on a Futaba. NOTE: That particular channel is NOT reversed in my setup. I'm going to experiment further though. It is flying well at 110 in manual, but I'm not dead set on leaving it there. When I really feel like I've nailed it down, I'll share all of my settings. I...

Hoverfly Just got "Auto-Level" working - WOW!

We've been shooting video with a Cinestar 8 and a Hoverfly Pro for the past couple of weeks and have been very happy with the results, while only using the manual flying mode. This evening I finally had some time and calm weather to get the "auto-level" feature set up. Wow! Talk about flying...

    Hoverfly Mikrokopter vs. HoverflyPro

I've only used Hoverfly on my Cinestar 8 so far. It has been great. At some point, I'll try the other flight controllers to compare.

Panasonic GH2 general and hack info base

I ordered a trigger here and it has worked great with our GH2 and Futaba receiver. It was easy to set up too. We've used it to trigger video and stills. http://www.mikrokopter.us/shop/camera-mounts-gear/camera-triggers/gentled-f-pana-18b-gentled-focus-for-panasonic-18b

As for connectors, PRC6 connectors are nice. I use them on my Cinestar.

Hoverfly Altitude Hold - best I can get is slowly dropping

Bartman, We're thinking along the same lines. I don't think the foam I'm using is right. I'll try some different foam and get this straightened out. Are you having good success with altitude hold? I'm betting I'll get this straightened out. The HFP flies awesome in manual mode - it is rock...

Hoverfly Altitude Hold - best I can get is slowly dropping

I'm having trouble getting altitude hold to work effectively. I've tried several settings, but the best I can get it to do is to drop slowly. I've got a piece of foam covering the altitude sensor right now to block it from light. Any recommendations? Thanks! -Benjamin Rowland
