I used to run a Tricopter on APM2 2.6 firmware with good success. Was thinking of getting a Talon and fitting an APM2.5 with the latest firmware. It would be good to know your opinion on the Talon?

You may find lowering the gains slightly will help as now there is more thrust vs weight the gains need not be as high?

It drifts in a spiral form until I add a little roll and then it works fine... So it narrows things down to three motors. The bearings all seem fine on the motors, I suppose the only way to check which motor is out of sync would be with a tacho and the machine pinned down? unless I can think of...

Just been out again and have noticed that if I hold in a little roll I can make the machine yaw perfectly? its almost as though one motor is slower than the rest at times, I think I will increase pitch and roll I to multiply the error further..
