My First build and setting DJI WKM first time, need help!

Sorry, I'm still using 5.16. It doesn't have this motor test. It seems unnecessary to me. Just get it all set up and then test the motors manually. That's all that matters. Good luck.

My First build and setting DJI WKM first time, need help!

Have you tried checking motor rotation manually? Just make sure everything is set up right, leave the props off, and pretend you're flying. Just briefly start the motors and see which way they are spinning.

2 devastating crashes in a month using Wookong

You can start here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1874616 Not sure about s800 escs. But most every other esc should be programmed according to the instructions in the esc packaging. Iosd is great. Don't run your lipos any lower than 3.5v per cell IN FLIGHT. That will be...

2 devastating crashes in a month using Wookong

The crash described by the op sounds very much like an esc being programmed for lipo failsafe. This means that your esc will automatically shutoff when you reach a certain voltage. You don't want that. Whenever you set up a new mr you need to be sure to program all of your escs. I'm not sure...

The best lens to use with a Lumix GH3?

I did a ton of research on this subject and it came down to the Olympus 12mm and the Panny 12-35 with OIS. They both get quite good reviews. I went with the Olympus because it's a 2.0, but I'm worried that I'll miss the OIS on the Panasonic. Should have it in the air within a week.

    Panasonic GX7, possible GH3 Killer

It doesn't have the high bitrates that .mov on gh3 allows.

RTH on FW 5.16 - Problems

I use rth on 5.16 with no problems in one year. If you lost radio then yes it would trigger your fail safe. Did you check for the fast green flashes before takeoff?

    Sony HXR-NX70U vs Panasonic GH3

    Photohigher skyline rsgs

Not sure what's wrong at this point. As long as your rsgs is in no way connected to your pan servo, and you are running from rx straight to the pan servo - then it's just a matter of figuring out how to use your tx properly, or a bad servo.
  16. T

    Photohigher skyline rsgs

No problem. Fwiw the rsgs is just about complete garbage. I've spent dozens of hours wrestling with it, and it's pretty bad. I do use it, but only on tilt, and only because my camera has superb tilt stab built in. If you have any money at all go get yourself a brushless gimbal. Best, Tom

    Photohigher skyline rsgs

My fault. It's not in the software. Don't connect the rsgs to the pan servo. Connect the servo directly to your rx. Why do you want to control roll?

    Photohigher skyline rsgs

It sounds like you're using pan stabilization. Turn off pan stab in the software - it's useless anyways.

Show what you filmed - Post Your Video Here

One of the best videos I've seen posted. Didn't think I was going to make it through a video that long, but I couldn't stop watching. Great work!

Show what you filmed - Post Your Video Here

Nice video! Sometimes those fading transitions drive me nuts, but you made them beautiful with the slow transition in the tall grass! Also great job lining up the music with the video - the sun appears right at the climax - this adds a lot.
