Got to test again today. I jumped the gun. Turns our the wire was not plugged in for GPS so did not actually turn on. NO wonder it didn't head off course yesterday!. So, today I plugged it in and tested it. While it did not go rocketing off into the unknown, it did make a smooth flying octo...

I have to report that I turned on the GPS tonight for the first time in a while. ( a couple weeks ago I did as well and it immediately shot away from me) Would you believe it held position instead of flying off like it lives in the next town over! Also, the heading held solid as well. No more...

I think it is time to sell my Picloc 3x pro! First flight tonight with the RSGS and it is sooooo much better than I ever got out of the picloc. Finally! The creep will drive me nuts, so have to figure that out. Even just one click in sub trim sends it the opposite direction. I still don't...

So what is the Pan Center Tune all about? I am just trying to follow the advice given to me. So everyone's RSGS pan turns the main frame when on the ground? @tombrown1, I think he meant to just put the belt back on. I took it off under some other advice to find the Pan Center. By the way, I...

The pan center tune value does not seem to change anything. I am not getting this. When I turn it on, it moves one way then slowly starts to turn the other way and accelerates. So frustrating that I am spending hours on this. THanks for the help soaring

I switched to my 8fg radio and the 3 way switch worked fine. Not sure why my 10chp won't do the job no matter what switch I set up. Creep is still present with 8fg even after subtrim again. I don't understand how to set up the center tune on the pan axis when pan signal is plugged into the...

It does stop. But with the slight creep.

I really need some help here. Just trying to get my AV200 back in the air after installing the RSGS. 1. I can't get rid of the pan creek (even if I set the sub trim, it ends up with a creep after a few cycles. 2. See the video. I set it up by tuning the pan with the AV200 hanging from the Octa...

1/4" braided wire shield, group buy

I am having issues with my GpS without the VTx. I'd hate to see how bad it is if I turn it on. I am hoping the external mag helps but I have been working on reducing emf anyway.

Anyone have any advice on getting the creep out of the pan? One click each direction in the sub-trim will allow it to creep each way, but never stays put. It is slow, but noticeable. Also, how do I program my radio to turn off pan stabilization for take-off and landing. I set cahnnel 5 to...

Beware of RCtimer in that their prop adapters are horrible and they don't seen to have standard size prop shafts (notice this motor has 3.18mm not 3mm).

Same except you need to add a power filter to the line. If you're buying it used, it will probably come with it. Otherwise it is only a few bucks. You may need to upgrade the Capacitor on the filter if you are going over 3s. I have both green and black board. They both fit GPS.

It turns out all of the fasteners on my Octa or non-ferrous. Hmmm. So, I think my wiring is about as clean as I am going to get it and I have non-ferrous hardware. What next George? Is there a way to shield the wiring?

LOL, mine might have the record on position hold at 4 months. ;) Here is a photo of the latest Octo build. Wires are in-between the frame plates. Power is supplied by 2 x 5s batteries mounted to my AV200 underneath with a y harness that runs over the rear 3 booms so it does not sag and get...

The issue with the mag hold when GPS is turned off, but plugged in, help me narrow down the problem. I always removed the board after testing so I am not carrying the extra expense that won;t work for me anyway. Problem is, I have tried to install it on 4 or 5 builds without success, so it sits...

Someone should introduce these guys to multirotors!

I wouldn't be surprised if they used something RC, but then again, their Facebook page shows a Blade CPX with a comment about maybe it leading to something bigger :)

Does Auto Level rely on the Mag in the GPS board if attached? Because I have issues turning on Auto Level with the GPS board attached. It yaws without input even if GPS functions are turned off. I am looking forward to external mag. Will we be able to upgrade our boards? I am not sure how I...

Iris, are you using steel fasteners? I have the boom clamps you made and can't find an appropriate aluminum screw that will work. I don't know what else can be messing with my GPS, but I have it on an aluminum post as high as it will go with the supplies wire. If I even have my GPS board...
