    MultiWii / NAZE / SP Racing F3 Anyone using Arducopter 2.0 ?

I was not happy with loiter so I did not use it. It does work ok with 2.0.44. I just checked the weight of my CC board against a Multipilot 32 plus DIY Drones imu. plus Sonar plus GPS plus Telemetry and CC is about 90 grams lighter. Thats almost a motor! As I don't use most of the nav.functions...

DJI Flight Controller - pricey but impressive

The last flight demo showing the wind sock demonstrates a stability level way beyond what I have ever seen from MK. Hovering in still air is one thing but in turbulent 12 knots is something else. Lets see some comparisons!!! CC is also pretty good as is the latest code AC 2.0.41 from...

Tau Labs OP CC for camera mount stabilization

So can the CC board stabilize a camera platform to a real high standard? You bet it can. I should be able to post some good stuff soon. It did take a little time to get my head around how the config. panels work. Got there in the end. I have CC mounted on the model and not the base plate. My...

    MultiWii / NAZE / SP Racing F3 Anyone using Arducopter 2.0 ?

Yes but I am still waiting for the NEW board that I ordered, if you are working on new things then take your time over it. I will stay updated with revisions. The migration from the Mega board will take some time with the testing untill I am totally sure of reliability. Then it will be a...

    Camera mount servos

Jes Many top of the range servos have 12 bit/ 4960 possible positions across the us range of 1000 to 2000 signal so yes is the answer. IMU's such as Picloc have .1 us resolution. I have not tested V3. I just hope it is a whole lot better than the previous models which I feel did not do George...

DJI Flight Controller - pricey but impressive

jes The manual states that the stick input in manual control is caged at 150deg/sec which would explain the great level of stability. but if it were using a 150deg/sec gyro then that launch would in all probability have saturated? Something clever going on.
