Coming soon to a multirotor near you...

Ah, we know from the past that the creators of these things are not usually skilled in this direction. It would be nice to know if the mount is servo driven.

    5.04 WKM firmware released

Correction - Simonk ESC's only have brake engaged when turned-off. It's not actually a brake is fet gate and will disappear when caps. run out.

Looks good as I see some wind in the bushes. I wonder what the gimbal is.

    5.04 WKM firmware released

OK panic over the issue was elsewhere. I removed the WKM from the airframe and it now works ok. I don't know what the problem was but it was NOT a problem with the Assistant or the firmware.

    5.04 WKM firmware released

I don't want to start a panic as this issue could just be an unrelated problem somewhere. I have been talking with DJI but so far no suggestions that make any sense to me.

    5.04 WKM firmware released

One thing that I notice with the Simonk ESC's is that they come with the Brake enabled. That is probably good for aeros but I don't like it for stable flight. I have been totally happy with 5.02 but I thought that I would give the latest one a try. That was a mistake, after downloading I...

    Show us what you shot.

Aerial photography was dominated by the cowboys who flew 6 hrs a day in a Cessna shooting domestic properties and then sending out sales people to sell a poor image for 50 pounds and then barter down to ten. A lot of companies did this. A few are still doing it. Along the way they would pick up...

Gunter If I may offer a few words of wisdom in this regard. Successful commercial aerial photography is all about capturing the image in a better way than your competitors do. Timing is of the essence because whether you are shooting in a studio or outside, the light is the critical factor...

Hi Boris I may have had a similar experience to yourself. I downloaded V 1.24 and connected everything in the usual way, and now the WKM wont talk to the Assistant not even with a rolled back version. I am getting pissed off with these guys.

14 Stiches later, I think something is wrong with my DJI 450 Naza...

FWIW DJI recommend that you do not touch the model for 5 sec. when you switch it on. that really means you should have a switch, rather than just a plug. If the initial calibration goes wrong then that can lead to some unusual behavior during T/O.

    5.04 WKM firmware released

The lower the CG the more work is required to level the model after a disturbance. My designs have the CG close to the center and I get super stable flight with standard DJI settings. The closer the heavy parts are to the center the less leverage is required to move them and thus the faster is...

    Hoverfly Hoverfly Gimbal Controller?

The last time I saw something with that much lag was on the offering from Feitech, that is never going to work the way it is.

Here's a couple of my small ones. They are made from carbon fiber plus nano tube fibers mixed in the gel coat. A lot of work to save 50 grams over a F450 frame but it does have a few other advantages. The motors are TM4008's, props are 10.5 x 3.5 specials. 600watt immersion plus yellow jacket or...

What do you want from your Flight Control company??

Breezemont You got right- it should have been spelled with a W. I have had a lot of success with the CC board as a camera stabiliser but I refuse to add anything constructive at OP because of that person. Here is a cantilever mount that works extremely well and saves a lot of weight. CC board...

DJI Zenmuse gimbal and S800 Spreading Wings preorder

Bad luck Boris, If that is the only damage you could slip on some prop. adapters and give it a try on a set of 14'' APC's. Never know, they may be just as good.
