Saw the 130 http://photohigher.co.nz/products/camera-gimbals-and-kits/av130/av1-av130-standard-gimbals-as/ I would need the Skyline on the roll and tilt as well if I'm not mistaken.

    What is more stable?

Cool, ran the 2217/20 840 through the calculator and I got about 2 minutes less than on the 2814s. I'll compare the prices. Rusty's Gimbal look pretty nice, like a cinestar but way cheeper.

    What is more stable?

The longest flight time that I could find with just a quick run through the calculator were the T-Motors AT3530-570 and the Axi 2814/22 765. The T-motors seems to give a longer flight time according to the calculator. Ts are on 12x45 props and the Axi are on 11x38 prop. Maybe I'm not considering...

    What is more stable?

Thats pretty sick, Do you think you would have more stability and efficiency from a flat Octo? Or, is the X8 just as efficient? Is that running on 4S or 6S? What flight controller are you using? I've never heard of the rusty's gimble. I'll do a search. Really nice setup, and that's running the...

Do you have any photos of 4 kilo xy8 with. Sounds like my machine will be around 4kilo to when I'm done. So you really recomend the Zenmuse or the Photohigher? Not so much the cinestar or cinestar knock-offs?

Stickers off the Suppos? I balance my motors using a lazar and a mirror. Works great! Did it for my DJI motors cause only one was perfect the rest were out of balance. I didn't realize the Suppo motors were that good. They are cheep to. 28 is the can or the stator?

    What is more stable?

@Kloner, Don't worry about knocking my thought process, that why I'm here, to be challenged, criticized and learn. If everyone says good job to everything I'll never develop. I think I'll look at the Axi motors. I've heard great things about them. I know the aeroXcraft gimbal is not the best...

    What is more stable?

Never mind about the tutorial, I understanding it better now. Just needed a bit of a learning curve. I can see now that the flight time kind of sucks. I'm going to rethink this model, cause I really want a longer flight time. I remember hearing that the S800 is boasting a 20 minute flight time...

    What is more stable?

Hey Guys, I'm revisiting those T-motors, the 4008-12 (600kv) and I ran them through the Multicopter calculator. I chose total weight of aircraft 4500g, 50amp ESC, on 4s 5000mAh 30/45c X 2 in parallel, 6 rotors 13" 4.5 pitch. And from what I can tell the they look pretty efficient. Here's a...

    What is more stable?

It does sound like we are looking for the same kind of set up. I'm thinking of the 950mm frame as I can have more flexibility with prop size. I'm playing with calculator, at trying to understand the graph a little more and choosing the most ideal set up. I'm hoping to build something that will...

    What is more stable?

I'm building a Hexa for AP work and wanting to carry a gimbal and NEX-5n. I would like the frame to be Carbon Core either 650 or 950mm. The chart I posted is from a Pulso 2826/12 (760)Kv running on 4s. I tried to get a chart for the Sunnysky motors on the eCalc: calculator to multicopter but...

I'm not sure I totally understand the graph. Is the efficiency good on this graph? Sorry I'm kind of slow.

Anyone here of these motors? http://www.thanksbuyer.com/sunnysky-outrunner-brushless-motor-v3508-700kv-for-multi-rotor-quad-copter-19275 I'd like to find them in the calculator Vin sent me, but they are not in the drop down list and I don't know what they are most similar to in the drop down...

    Show us what you shot.

Thanks Pete, Just curious like a said. I noticed the jello and fact that the GoPro isn't always the best choice. But what I did notice is that you have a fantastic eye for what to shoot, angles to shoot from and pretty good flying skill.

VinF550, That's really cool. I had no idea such a thing even existed. Lanzar, I feel you on that. I was looking at the S800 but heard a lot about bad vibs. I know the Zenmuse takes care of it, but still, the thrill of putting something together is kind of appealing.

    What is more stable?

Maybe I should revise my original question. I'm looking at either the Carbon Core 650 or 950. I want to carry a very smooth gimbal (but not the Zenmuse) to hold the NEX 5n. I want the multirotor to be smooth in flight and still have lots of power to get over some windy conditions and have lots...

    What is more stable?

I think I'm getting some more info. I've read that the WKM performs better with smaller props at higher RPMs. This could be why I see a lot of suggestions for the 28 motors with higher KVs. However, this does not hold true if I consider the KV ratings on the S800 motors. Maybe I don't have a...

Tiger 2814 (aka Avroto, QC, Quadpower, etc.) max lifting experiences?

I think the redundancy sounds right, but I think the DJI has a firmware update that is supposed to catch a hex in the event of a motor failure. I think believe the (speaking with little knowledge that the Y6 is more maneuverable and orientation would be easer to see as well.

    What is more stable?

Cool this is really helpful, I think I'm getting it. Well my intention was to use at least 12x5 props on the the 650 or something like 13" or 14" on the 950. I'm pretty set on the Ice Lite 50s because I heard that with the firmware update for multirotors the refresh rate in Hz is even faster...
