Aeronavics / Droidworx Good Battery supplier in US?

Been using MaxAmps for almost a year. They are good batts. I'd recommend the 10,900mah for heavy lift.

Switch throttle curve during flight on 8fg

Thanks for linking to that thread. It would seem that multiple throttle curves can work in airplane mode. I've got mine setup for multiple dual rate settings set by a switch and that works great, but can't get the throttle curves to work on a switch.

I've tried putting my throttle curves on a switch and the switch seems to have no effect. It just stays in throttle curve #1. Any advice for me? thanks, Ben

    Aeronavics / Droidworx Skyjib Flat 8 v X4

It could be that the motors weren't perfectly lined up - tough to do with round arms. I'm building a rig with rectangular arms - we'll see if I can make coaxial work better on it.

Yuri, do you run the same size props top and bottom or something different? I wonder why I was seeing the yaw issue.

    Aeronavics / Droidworx Skyjib Flat 8 v X4

We tried coax for a while on our Cinestar. There were many things I liked about it, but we ran into three issues that were frustrating. 1. We caught a prop in the shot a bit more often because of the motors hanging down. 2. Significantly reduced flight times (loss of 20% or so). 3. Aircraft...

    Alexmos hardware connectors...

So the Alexmos board from Flyduino requires some soldering to be done. Breakaway header pins are the obvious one and those you can buy a lot of places. But I'm curious where to buy the power connector and button - where to buy each of those? Thanks for any help!

Switch throttle curve during flight on 8fg

My Futaba 8fg is set up in airplane mode. I would like to switch between throttle curves, but can't seem to make it work. I can only use throttle curve 1. I've figured out the myriad of features in this radio, but this one has me scratching my head.

Hoverfly Finally gave the GPS board a try...

Bart, No problem - it's a quality kit and very well thought out. It could just be in my head, but it seemed like flight in manual mode was slightly improved as well. Does the GPS board impact manual flight mode?

Commercial shot entirely with a multirotor...

Thanks! We just did the filming on this one. Post work was done by the great folks at Crawford in Atlanta. They were the production company and we did the shooting. Funny story... At the end of the day's shooting I asked them what percentage of the commercial would be our aerials. Their...
